Awesome Sounds For Once and For all
« on: July 09, 2008, 12:57:05 AM »
Ok Fellas I know Im going to catch hell.  BUT!

I keep forgetting, missing, not remembering where to download all the cool sounds from.  Is or was there a post that told us where to get ALL the sound paks from.  A post that has ALL the links to ALL the available sound paks.

Because, I like Mitsu's explosions cannons etc.  However no offense but most of his plane sounds sound like you are out on the wing.  Where Ranger's sound like your inside.  Fruda has even cooler in plane sounds but the laze donut :D hasnt made any new ones.  So I am, like many mixing alot from here or there.  Sorry but I searched and double searched all over for these and like a dork I forgot to make note of where they are.

On the wish list it would be nice if HTC would put a permalink to these awesome sound files that these bretheren toiled to hard for.  They are way more than worthy to have their work permanately linked.  These sounds like way ROCK     :rock

Anyone else feel the same way?  Or am I out on my own reservation on this?

WAY TO GO on the sounds fellas!

Jet.

Look under Custom Sounds and Skins in the general forum. Most of the sound packs are stickied.

Nice high resolution sounds can be nice, but they also can take a hige amount of processing power.  If you are using onboard sound, then using high resolutions sounds will cause a significant rise in CPU usage as onboard sound chips depend on the CPU to do all the work for them.

The manifestation of problems can range from discos to warping to VOX problems and a host of other maladies.
