Save as .xcf to save all the layers.
When your done, save it as the original file of the aircraft (ex. 109G6_1 for the 109).

What plane are you skinning? So I can explain how to view the skin?

It'd be a good idea to stop using PM's so these questions can be linked to and answered again :aok
Since your doing the C47-

If you want to check your progress on the C47 your skinning, you can do this by-

First, go to your skins directory. You should already have the C47 folder there. If you look through your skins you can see that there are already 7 skins for the C47. So, first thing you need to do is name your custom C47 folder C47_8 , denoting that it is the 8th skin. Next, open the folder, right click on blank space, and in the menu select new>text file. Name the text file C47 and in the text file put 'xxx by SKYGUNS'. Now, when you save your skin as C47.bmp (there's also probably another file since the C47 is one of the old skins), you'll be able to open it offline. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN .XCF FILE SAVED AS WELL.
