kinda funny how in the P-51 isnt very good (in my eyes) even tho over europe, it pwnd... underpowered maybe?

It isn't underpowered, and it is an extremely capable fighter, if it is flown the way it should be. However, not many people in AH fly the P51 the way it should be flown, and that leads to poor results and a poor impression of the aircraft. During WWII the P51 was almost always flown to its strengths because it was in the hands of some of the best trained pilots in the world at that time.

I saw that one a while back.. Great great video. Hits pretty close to home to me personally with my grandfather and I.. He flew P-47's in WWII and watching this chokes me up a little each time..

no, its not really funny.  The P51 is one of the most capable FMs in game.  Caveat being if it is employed using its strengths......plus training coupled with tactical discipline.

Excellent Film and Website

My buddy from AW, did a painting of some aircraft from his unit, the 31st FG.

I know he will love the link as much as I.

Amazing. I'm choked up at the beauty of the plane and the class of the pilot. They don't make either of them like that anymore. :salute
