Early War squad

Any interest in an early/mid war squad? My Grandpa was in the 11th USAAF in Alaska. They flew P-38s, 39's & 40's with some B-24's, 25's and B-26's. I was thinking of setting up a squad to work together in a historic way emulating the 11th in the early war arena. Anyone interested?

The problem is the catch-22 that plagues the early war. The arena is empty so nobody shows up. Nobody shows up so the arena is empty. People request early war planes to entice more players into the arena, but if you build them will they come?

There was much excitement over getting the P-39; the "League of Airacobra Pilots" and so on. That is until we actually got the plane. Now the P-39 may be more popular in the mid war but they are a rare sight in the late war arenas nowadays. I found the plane to be not much fun (not concerned with uber as i don't fly anything less than 15 ENY). Maybe the next addition won't become a hangar queen.

I would like to fly in the early arena for a change, but there's not a lot going on in there. I hope the powers that be can come up with something. It would be nice to escape the hordes and still find a decent size fight.
