Problem: Engine management fubar'd
« on: May 11, 2001, 01:05:00 PM »
Take a lanc, start up all 4 engines.

Press Shift+1, e (turn engine 1 off)
Press Shift+4, e (turn engine 4 off)
let 1 & 4 spool down

Now - to control engines 2&3 at the same time - what do you do?

Press Shift+2+3? Nope - that only controls one of the engines

Press Shift+E? Nope - that selects all four engines and starts engine 4. NOT what you wanted. Press it again, it starts engine 1.

You can start and stop em singly, but you can't control them individually in pairs or threes. Been waiting for that fix about 10 tours now.

WHEY!

I thought I was really stooopid, having the same probs as you guys. It's really frustrating trying to get home on 2 engines in a buff/lanc. Even the Amiga B-17 (Microprose) did this well. Let's have, pleeease? pretty please?
