Did you take those pics in flight or in the film recorder?

There's no external fighter view in the Main Arena, so I'd guess its from the film recorder.

IMHO, the worst part about this game are HO's.  I wish Hi-Tech would at least reduce the hit chance in a HO situation. Lets get more skill in the fight.  HO's stink

Notice how the one FW still had its droptank attached.   He wasn't even PLANNING on fighting.  He would have just flown away had his wing not been destroyed, as 99% of 190D-9's do.

HAHAHA death to the HO dweebs!

The thing about H2Hs (or HO in AH) is they can be easily avoided. Unlike other games in AH it is really hard to get a good gun solution if one of the 2 guys doesnt like it.

But if both want it the chances are on the side of the plane with the better gunner and the better guns. And the only difficulty than is how to get the shoot within this 1 sec before u have to break.

I personally avoid HOs as often as possible, cause i dont like the risk of my plane beeing damaged (hehe which is normally fatal cause i fly the D9), i take the extra time and (try to) go for a nice low deflection 6 shot.

front quarter shots and HO's are perfectly reasonable manouvers.
The only time a HO annoys me is when there is no need for it.
IF you bounce someone and you have alt/e advantage THERE IS NO NEED FOR A HO period.
However if you are attacked by an enemy who starts the fight with advantage and you manage to turn a 6 oclock bounce into a HO/frontquarter shot then i say you have done well! .
A typical example of a perfectly accewptable HO/frontquarter shot is when you or a friend has a bogey on your/his 6 and you merge almost headon with your friend/you calling help and you or the friend HO's the enemy to clear your 6.
If like me you fly 190s a lot H0's are an important manouver, often thats all youre ever going to get.
So to restate......

HOs are acceptable....just dont dive from 20k to 5k and HO when you can fly over them and drop in on their 6.
Youd be crazy not to use ACM in these situations. All other HO's are a 2 man thing.
if you dont want to HO you can avoid them.

i dont seewhat all the fuss is
