Men and women in "3:10 to Yuma" .. and now
« on: July 16, 2008, 01:10:08 PM »
I find this article/blog very interesting......

http://mensnewsdaily.com/2008/07/15/men-and-women-in-310-to-yuma-and-now/

It's someones view of attitudes then and now.

I have to say I find myself pretty much agreeing with the author......

That's quite a reach between a 1975 western movie and a 2008 stall groping.  I think the author could have done much better with some other comparison.

Really?

Hmmm...........

IIRC those kinda things didn't happen, or were soooo rare you never heard of em?

And IIRC the Western he's talking about aired in the 50's?

Ah crap..I thought maybe some good looking starlet in the new 3:10 to Yuma got groped in a horse stall. Guess I'll pass on that one.

The Father did the right thing, any man who wouldn't do the same thing is the one who needs to be prosecuted.

Damn the worse-than-useless john-law who arrested this man, damn the hollow-horned heifer who made that ridiculous statement, damn'em to Hell, and damn any man who wouldn't burn the shirt off his own back to make a light by which to damn 'em some more at night!

Not sure what the Deadwood series by HBO has to do with this?

Care to enlighten?
