I think MS also just announced DX11 in in the works to replace DX10.1.

Microsfot would love to stear all gamers away from PC's and to the X-Box.

I cry myself to sleep at night because this is all happening at a time that I can't afford to stock up on XP CDs. I only have one Home installation...not exactly "prepared for the future." :cry

I am lucky that I figured out how to make my own customized XP CD, so at least I'll always have my install, even if I lose my CD key. But, still. It's Home. Augh.
