 :salute To the pilot.

God bless him.
Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

not sure what makes any of you who have been this disrespectful with regard to another humans life think that you are not total tools, but in the event that you did not know...you are.  grow up.

<S> to the pilot.  it's a very dark day for his family and friends indeed.

It was a Cessna 411 twin engine turbo prop registered to Prosoft Technology Inc., the pilot was killed.

     The 411 is a piston, sure it wasn't a 425?

I don't think anyone intentionally made light of the tragedy. Once they realized there was a fatality, they were quite respectful. It's not the subject of the post that got them riled as much as the poster. He and his counterpart, the other "V", are notorious for starting far too many inane, clueless threads. They were understandably predisposed to think this was more of the same drivel.

Peace :salute
