Is the arguement the hispanos kill at to great a range or just kill to quickly and therefore end the chronic stick stirring to soon and they don't have time to induce cart wheels with stick stirring before they are blown away, gun film footage I have watched shows pretty clearly what happens when you shoot another airplane with cannons or machine guns.
The quick kill just dampens everyones plans to soon, I think it adds realism, I mean did they used to use the fighters rear view key on the joystick until they saw flashes and then begin these crazy assed 10G moves or was it more positioning for a shot.
Getting hit is getting hit if you got away in one piece I guess you would be lucky and I have been shot down in the game by plenty of 50 and 30 cal. it just happens a split second slower than the cannons.

Pappy.. if the chog had 1/2 the ammo it does now, limiting its ability to spray and pray, then people would be picking on that other obviously porked plane the P51

And now for something completely different..

Well, I certainly am in no position to argue the accuracy of any aircraft but I do think that the chog flight and gun characteristics are as close as is reasonable to expect from htc given the data they have.  That being said, I think that aircraft hardness in ah is a bit off...too easily damaged.  I think that in most cases a high speed head on shot, or high angle of attack, short burst snapshot should not be capable of blowing parts off of aircraft...especially whole tail sections.  In short, I think the aircraft need to be harder.

Point 'n shoot. It's what we do!

Some guys like the pump.. (cannons)
Others like the spray. (MG's)

It don't matter tho. If it flies, it dies.

Uberness in a pony is altitude, victory is accuracy on that first pass... and then gettin out of sight of or above everybody else again.

Uberness in anything else is being aware of your degeree of vulnerability (any ponies around here above me?) and common sense in SA and ACM skills. Cannons are less important than ACM skill and are an issue for contention only amongst those pilots that prefer to stick around and dogfight.

Ya picks yer plane; u takes yer chances. Style dictates success.. fly a pony in turnfights, you WILL die. B&Z in a pony, stay fast; you MIGHT live. Hop inna dogfight with 6 other guys; yer gonna die. guarenteed. Just a matter of when. Don't matter what you fly then.. niki; chog; spit; yak.. It don't matter. You furball; you die.

Am I wrong?
