Today Doesn't Count!

Checking my final stats for this tour I noticed that the scoring for today isn't included. Tour 102 ended on July 30th and tour 103 starts on the 1st.

Could this be a good thing? It will be interesting if the gameplay in the MA's turns a bit more gonzo tonight.

I doubt that there will be any noticeable change in gampelay at all. Many players won't know about it. Many players do not care. Most players have their particular style of playing kinda "hardwired" into them. The one or other extreme score potato may fly a bit different if their stats can't suffer, but not the majority of players.

I suspect you're right. Since beta tour 3 I've pretty much played the same. Some tours, like this last one,  I'll be in GV's most the time, others I'll be in jabo or fighter mode. Just depends on what I feel like, it must suck to have to adjust ones gameplay in order to attain a high, or is it low, rank.

What about a whole month without scores? I bet that would change the gameplay a bit. It would be a fun experiment regardless of the outcome.

I had heard that the length of a tour is 30 days and is not set to match a calendar month.  Not sure, but that's what I've heard.
