Invalid Login and Vista
« on: July 31, 2008, 02:48:44 PM »
Help, I am now stuck upgrading computers and I have to use Vista.  Well, now that I have installed AHII on my new machine, it worked fine for a day, and now it tells me I have an Invalid Login.  I have checked it out several times, and the login is correct.  It works fine on my old XP machine, but when I logout and try to login on my Vista machine, I get the Invalid Login message.

I think I have searched all the Vista posts, but did not find this issue with a solution.

If you are getting the "Invalid login" message, it means the game connected to the account verification server, but the login or the password do not match.

Make sure you do not put any spaces (leading or trailing) in the login or password boxes.  If you are trying to copy your data from the XP box to the Vista box, it will not work as Vista is going to put the files in a different place.

Do not attempt to login when the other computer is logged in.

Thanks, I found that a leading space appears after I log out and try to log back in.  I have no idea why it does that, but I can delete the leading space each time I log in.
