Is AcesHigh a 1944-45 simulation? Then dont perk anything. Dont perk the hated C-Hog, the La-7, the Spitfire XIV, the Tempest, the 190D-9 (with MW50), the P-47M-N and even the P-51H. Bring even the Me262 for free. Plz dont use double standards.

Behave consistenly, thats the better thing to do. And good luck.

Gatt, the Fw190D9 with MW50 shouldt be perked anyway. Its a Mustang with less turning, worse firewoper, and 7mph more at the best altitude. Would require tons of ACM to get kills in this kite.

Not enough to be perked.

Other than that, I agree. If Chog is not perked why perk anything else?. Arent perks conceived for ballance gameplay? then WTF means that a plane that gets 20% of the kills in the MA IS NOT PERKED?

Sorry RAM, I was completely wrong   HTC should not perk the TA-152, the A7M Reppu, the Spitfire 21 and the Yak-3 with that little monster engine as well. Ah, I was forgetting the italian DB603 engined G.55 "Centauro", the only inline engined fighter ready to mount the mighty DB603. Two prototypes built and fully tested by italian and Luftwaffe pilots.

Are all 1944-45 fighters? YES. To the hell with production figures. Does AcesHigh want to fight against WW2OL (1940) and WB3 (1940-44)? Then lets do a real *what-if* (ehm) 1944-45 simulation and lets enjoy everything the market can offer us.

Whats the armament on the standard Dora?

Cause I was flying the pony tonight and its are ass.
I guess I'm so used to those P38 guns that can shred a plane like a chainsaw

2x20mm+2x13mm

bassically 2x20mm Mausers. Worse thana P51 IMO.

BTW the six MGs are a wonderful weaponry   Flied some F6F missions lately and they pack a nice punch, with that incredible RoF and ballistics.

Those 2x20mm are MG151-20 in the wing roots and firing through the prop arc. IMHO, enuff firepower and pretty concentrated.

Yup. But not comparable with 6 50 cals IMO. And even more with the reduced RoF of the cannons and MGs due the propeller.

Oh well, it is the same armament of the 190A-8 without external cannons. IMHO it is enuff to shoot down everything up to 350-400yds without too much deflection.

Looks like theres no reason to perk Me-262 too  
Its cannons are worse than F4U-1c's but its faster than C-Hog.
It should climb faster (Little less than 4000ft/m)than C-hog but C-Hog should accelerate better (?).
Me-262 cant turn worth of toejam when F4U turns like a over-weight Zero (rolls better thought  )

BRING THE SCHWALBE IN !!!

this sounds good as long as for once the LW get an advantage or the russians or the italians just please stop giving USAAF their best planes.
as it stands i see best jabo...f4c(bloody cannons)
best bnz......f4c,p51(can disengage at will)
best bomber...b17(deadly guns)
best dogfighter? anyones guess but with 1000's of bnzers around this is not too important  

give those poor russians or italians or LW a plane that can strike a bit of fear into the wussy USAAF 'i want everything in my favour' clan

LOL Gatt...when I say that Mausers suck is because I dont think that 2 mausers are enuf  

I'd change them for 6 50 cals, any day.
