Auto updating MA maps offline (possible solution included)

The Want:

A feature that would allow those of us who manage websites to have an auto updating system for main arena maps.

Why:

This has been a feature that I have wanted for quite some time. I searched and searched but could not find anything that was comparable. The only other option is to forfit 5 minutes every 30 minutes of my day to update the a map manually.

possible solution:

I do have some suggestions on how this can be accomplished with very minimal effort.

Grab a screenshot every 15 minutes and have it save the image file somewhere on the server allowing the save feature to save each new image file with the same name forcing an overwrite.  You can then just give the image's URL to the public, all we would have to do after that is paste the image URL where we wanted it and BaddaBing! we have an auto updating function for us CO's and webmasters to use.

what. you want like a "whats currently going on" type of thing? complete with numbers of players, etc. etc.



I think I'd personally like it, but there may be a reason i cant think of right now why it wouldn't work..

Not so much as a how many people are online, but more of a current status of the current map. I think that knowing what country owns what bases and where the current DarBars are located.
