The Montauk Monster
« on: August 01, 2008, 09:12:59 PM »
Have any of you read this story about this strange animals body was found washed up on the beach near the Hampton's?  It looks really strange, some are saying it's a raccoon, but if it is it's one weird raccoon, look at both the pics.

body was found washed up on the beach

That's the key phrase here.  If you've ever seen a drowning victim after a few days in the water, it's hard to identify the species let alone the personal identity of the victim.

Thought you were joking till I looked at the pics, but it may very well be.  Someone get Al Gore his cape ASAP.  Also I believe the cute wittle bugger is flipping us the bird in the second pic.

I think it's a turtle sans shell.

The truth.
LOL blond moment at the end of that clip.  Mr. Expert just got done explaining it was clearly not a beak, but teeth and incisors -- and the news babe says at the end "That's not a racoon.  Racoons don't have beaks."

That irritated me, how stupid is someone that they can't understand what was just told to them, in plain and simple English?  I don't think it was a blond moment, I think that just shows that T.V. people don't really need brains, just read a teleprompter.  Of course, there are exceptions to that.
