More Mossies!
« on: August 02, 2008, 03:44:48 PM »
Im no genius about the history of world war 2 but I do know there were lots of mossies models. We have spit models f4 models jug models etc ; WHERES THE MOSSIES! Mossies were great planes with tons of fire power and speed. In World War 2 there were mossies that didnt even fire front guns , theyd go in on the deck drop thee amazing load of 4,000 pounds and rtb without anything catching them. Now lets compare that to the game. I go in with the mossi we have , drop 4 500s and hit the deck with a spit16 on my tail at 800. Now , for some odd reason im only doing about 350 on deck , at the max and spit keeps catching me??? It could be the model which is fine , that be the case then we need more of the other mossies because it really was an awsome plane in the war , one of the best in the british arsenal in my opinion.

It's so bizarre.  Have you ever noticed how many posts have everything you need to know about them in the first 3 words?

Getting to the topic of more Mossies, I belive Karnak has delivered data on this.
You'd have 3 at least to make things to the minimum. As well as some possible loadouts to add up, such as the cookie....
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
