I'm not a skinner and I feel a little guilty saying this but;
The cowl flaps/panel lines make the cowl flaps look artificial, is there a way to change that? Or is the nose textures stretched too much to do so?

Wow I somehow missed this horrible and uncalled for attack upon my skins. I am crushed beyond words at your baseless and unfounded attack.

We all know you only see these things from behind and through gun smoke, why can you not let it go.

Ok enough fun.

Seriously lets look at what we have and let me explain what you are seeing. The 3D model of the TA152 has a closed cowling. I believe it would be open somewhat during flight at some stages. I am attempting to create a 3D effect at the cowling. See the picture below. I made the panel lines of the cowl flair a bit as they got near the rear. Also there is some oil staining there as well.
