Obama/McCain town hall debates
« on: August 03, 2008, 04:00:17 PM »
Are apparently not going to happen according to the Obama camp.

http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080803/D92AFT400.html

"On Saturday, in a letter to the Commission on Presidential Debates, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe said the short period between the last political convention and the first proposed debate made it likely that the commission-sponsored debates would be the only ones."

Its part of a "play it safe" strategy by the Obama campaign under the guise of "not enough time".  I suspect its the absence of telepromter's and the unscripted question's that would be asked
directly by the audience, Americans.

Borax is not going anywhere that he might get actual random questions that the answers cannot be preplanned by his speech writers.
The reason? He has no answers.

Real debates should come on October/November.
You mean the ones where they get the questions in advance?

Hasn't Yomama been the one saying McCain should meet him in debate?  Seen that on tv several times.  Figures, just empty words from the worlds preeminent empty suit.

Obama is absolutely awful at contemporaneous speaking.

McCain is too big of a coward that he won't say what needs to be said, when it should be said.

It'll be a hilarious debate.

Unless the polls indicate that obambam has to actually debate there won't be any he can get out of.

preplanned

Just wondering... how does one preplan?

If thinking about it is planning, then preplanning would be before thinking about it...  How does that help?

Obama is absolutely awful at contemporaneous speaking.

I heard him fall apart like a $3 watch trying to deal with a heckler last week. A black activist grilling him on what he's done, plans on doing for the race. Actually made bush sound like an adroit speaker.

I spose preplanning can get you ready to plan. Maybe you would go out and get some food so you could plan better. Meh. Obamasama hasn't my vote, not that it matters.

Failing to plan, is planning to fail.....

Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.
