Advanced Damage modelling (Large Pic)
« on: December 11, 2000, 10:58:00 AM »
Hey All,
I've seen various threads about "Random breakdowns" etc and although I don't think this would be a good idea I do think it would be nice if engine damage in a bomber for instance affected the appropriate services. Just look at what the different Engines are responsible for in the Lanc (Turrets etc). I'm sure the B17, B26 etc were no different.

Just a thought

Snafu,

Good Idea!  I'd love to see a more complicated bomber model overall.  I'd would be great to have to transfer fuel to another tank etc., due to damage.  It would also be nice to have to watch prop/mixture/temp/etc. settings as well.  Perhaps this could be an optional feature, with some bonus in the form of points or perk points.
