Ill say first I am getting really tired of seeing Brett Favre every time I turn on ESPN. I just want to know if hes playing and where I could care less about the other details. Thats my whine for this thread.....
If you have been playing football as long as Brett Favre, figure hes been playing for 25+ years including college, high school, and youth, its hard to walk away for anyone for any sport. Look how hard it is for some of these baseball and basketball players to walk away after so many years of playing. Hell look at how many times Michael Jordan retired, not like he needed the money with all the endorsements he had.
Michael Jordan was a special case but usually when you are done, you are done. Its very hard to come back to a sport when you take more than a year off.
Just go to your local high school or college and talk to the seniors who may never play another game in their life of coordinated athletics. They will be emotionally broken especially after their last game as a senior.
Its hard to walk away especially when you know you cant go back.
I understand why Brett Favre wants to come back as he wants to continue playing as his career is not over and he still has the will to continue playing.
I am just tired of the hype they have on ESPN.
