Why am I reminded of the American girl in the last Winter Olympics who had the Gold in snowboarding or whatever sewn up when she decided to stunt off a bump and wiped out?

i would try to come up with some sort of witty answer for that, but i can't, as i didn't see it or hear about it back then.

 i don't really follow this stuff at all, and all i know about it is what i read from you guys(which robably means i'm in trouble :rofl)

If you watched that race and think that the other guy wasn't faster then your not watching it objectively.

Phelps now 8 for 8 with 7 world records.  Simply amazing.

Beat Mark Spitz record in a way even Mark Spitz said he was the greatest athlete ever...

The poor guy STILL looks like a dorkfish.

(BTW:  With all those gold medals, you'd think at LEAST he'd learn his own national anthem, wouldn't you?)
