The Germans killed Jews who were German citizens for the purpose of the extermination of a race.

The American settlers fought the Indians for possesion of their lands.

The American Indians were allowed to sign treaty's bringing an end to the conflict.  The Jews were offered no such accomodation.

There's a big difference.

Allowed to sign treaties? Are these the very same treaties that the white men broke all the time?

Next time you're in NYC, sirvlad....look up! Many of the steel workers walking up high are American Indians and they are hired for their skill! The United States Army conquered the American Indian Tribes across the American Continent and not without loss. The American Indian stood against a Government it did not understand, and accepted that Government's Treaties as it would a Treaty from Tribe to Tribe. Do you understand? Both parties made choices...both parties broke Truce, and neither understood the other; but! Both parties had a voice, and both parties tried to communicate with each other. This was not the case in Nazi Germany.

If you wish to generalize American History and then compare it to Nazi Germany, I suggest you duck your head and hunt a hole beacause Arty is incomming and I am at it's leading edge!

One would postulate that it's because the game is centered around World War Two.

If the game was called "Cowboys and Indians" there might indeed be a rule against glamorizing the genocide of the Native Americans.

Good point WMLute!

The original post troubles me though... Let's see if I get the gist...

Because the US Army hunted down the Native Americans took their land and put them on reservations (at best) 150 or so years ago, that justifies the SS and their infinitely more benevolent treatment of all the non Aryans they came across during their holiday travels across occupied Europe.

Did I understand the post correctly?

Allowed to sign treaties? Are these the very same treaties that the white men broke all the time?

So then I assume you feel since the treaties were all broken, that we are still at war with the various Indian tribes around the nation?  If so I also assume you would think the Army would be justified in putting all these "hostiles" in a POW camp???

You see trying to play the "blame game" with history as your foil never solves anything, the holocost was a miserable thing to have happened, on  a horrible scale.

It cannot however be compared to the American Indian situation either in context or form, since the two events in history are NOT similar except to those who wish to make some kind of "anti" point against the U S government or the country as a whole.

so does this mean that you can be an athiest and still be called a jew if you can trace your bloodline back to the above mentioned group of people ?

or lets say you convert to Judaism, does this mean that you are not refered to as a jew, even though you werent decended from the above mentioned ''tribe'' ???

I would like to see Zaren13's response to the above two questions.

One of the serious problems in planning the fight against American doctrine, is that the Americans do not read their manuals, nor do they feel any obligation to follow their doctrine... - From a Soviet Junior Lt's Notebook
