New Star Wars Clone Wars cartoon
« on: August 12, 2008, 04:13:00 PM »
Got a sneak peek at it this past weekend with our kids. They seemed to really enjoy it, it's probably worth it's cost to go see it.  Even saw adults there w/the whole helmet get-ups.  Was more cool for our kids to see it early than it was to watch the movie itself though.

George Lucas needs to be locked up away from typewriters, pens, pencils, word processors, and other such dangerous items.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Yes, I mean, your writing has produced so much more wealth now, hasn't it  :)
(Seriously...I know what you mean...just say "Anakin Love Scene...yawn)

One of the guys I know had his R2 at the premiere yesterday, I've been seeing pictures of Victor's R2 all over the web and such.  (http://vfranco.blogspot.com/2008/08/clone-wars-hollywood-premiere.html)

As for me...I'm really disappointed that this animated feature looks like crap.  It looks like a game intro on an XBOX to me.  Its just very B-rated effects from a company that created ILM and all the high tech computer animation we know today.

Probably won't see it for a while...and already said no to bringing R2 to the premiere...don't want my dang robot getting humped   LOL

You know what, now that you say that, your absolutely right, thats exactly what it looks like, like the intro to a Star Wars game, very disappointing.
