So if he'd helped, he would have earned the right to complain about the stench? Sounds odd. If I were the hot tramp, I'd probably be more offended by the complaints of somebody I'd grown closer to, rather than those of a complete stranger in a toilet.

sang David Bowie on his 1974 hit single Rebel Rebel. Well i had the misfortune to catch the stale odour of a hot tramp warming himself up under the hand dryer in a london subway toilet. The stench was overpowering and i couldn't get away quick enough. I certainly wasn't going to sing his praises to the whole world.
