I've never been able to fly my A6M5b with half a wing, the best I can do is fly it into the ground.

B-25H can be extremely difficult to land if you've lost control surfaces.

I had one a few nights ago that I'd just taken on a fighter sweep (yes, I do fly the B-25 as a figher sometimes  :D) into a proto-furball, I had a gunner, and as far as I remember, I'd lost:

One engine (oil+engine I think)
Both rudders
One elevator
I think an aileron
Most gunners
At least one fuel leak

I managed to get it back on the runway without any further damage, but it was probably the hardest thing to land I've ever dealt with.

Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

I find it easy to land a 262 missing two wingtips and both ailerons and I have only had the chance to try it once  but without an elevator added to that.  It is actually pretty fun to do.

The P38 I've landed missing the tips of both wings. As long as you have both engines it'll still fly. Though even with one engine it'll do well.

But the P51 I can barely keep in the air when damaged.

lol i asked this question and then  last night i took out a 38j to bomb a cv. killed the cv lost one elevator one alerion both engines died and lost a rudder. i basicaly coasted maybe 5 miles to the feild i took off from, got gear down ok and set down just over the main pad. i was planign to stop on the main pad or one of the runways but couldnt get it stoped cause i was going across them pretty fast finaly i saw the vh and jsut followed the road till i coasted into the vh nose wheel in. landed sucsesfuly.

p51 is very hard for me to keep in the air unless its the right wing that makes it easier but its still hard to set her down.  ive never been able to land missing left wing. cause of the torque i think.
