If you looking to build a "real" site, go daddy and a few of the other are good. What you get is server space, and a basic setup...email and such. Some will have BBS setup you can just plug in as well as code to set up picture upload and films like you want. Unfortunately its a bit more hands on. The more you know about building web pages and such the better off you will be.
On the other hand, if you just want a "place on the web" one of the free site might work out better for you.The
Cobra in the Clouds has a free site on bravehost. They have a more user friendly setup. Most of it is just click and go for the setup. Many templates are available. The problem is server space. Uploading pictures and films will be an issue.
So you have to decide what is more important to you and your squad.
