Thanks for the corrections Juzz, and I remember reading about how docile Lancs were to fly. Stick a real Lanc driver in AH and he'd have a heart attack! I've been trying to figure out just what is wrong with the Lanc. Lack of power is what I keep looking at, but maybe it's lack of flaps lift or something else. Still, it drives me nuts to have to drive a Lanc half-way to target before it finally gets off the dirt.
Our B-17 should be able to lift off in a 3-point attitude, but I've yet to pull that off. Even when light the thing doesn't want to obey the flight instructor in Zeno's training film.
