feeding 150 cows every night for 2 bucks a night.
I never forgot the cheap bas%&*d. Even back then that was a rip-off.
I did it for 5 weeks until I got a new job at a car wash for minimum wage.
I'd tell ya how much but you would all laugh and call me gramps.

I started mowing yards when I was 11. Went all around the area knocking on doors. Made damn good money in the summer.

Went to a Led Zepplin concert when I was 15.... saw these dudes in blue uniforms working as ushers ... turned to my buddy Tom and my brother and said --- &&& %%% ...these guys are getting paid to see this concert...next day went downtown to the Andy Frain main office and worked as many concerts and ballgames as i could - crap money - but saw more concerts and smoked more confiscated dope than anyone I knew :)

I bagged groceries at a local store for less than minimum wage. Think I made 2.25 an hour. Minimum wage was something like 3.10 an hour?

*edit* We weren't allowed to accept tips either.

**edit** Huh.....it's still open and has reviews on the intardnet.....whodathunkit??  http://www.insiderpages.com/b/3717711281

Growing up on a farm started me off young. At 6 my Dad taught me to drive so that I could help with the field work and chores. Just continued on after that. To this day I never regret it infact this is what I am teaching my kids.
