f8 mode

I just log on and the f5 mode works but when I hit f8 to pan it doesn't work......wats up with that?????

never mind.......it works now....no clue why.

I have rare times that the mouse pan will not work at all, and I still have no idea how to fix it. Its working now, but I don't know how it was fixed. Resetting the game doesn't work, or even restarting the computer; it just seems to come back when it feels like it.

It does, as F8 is not a view mode as such - its just free moving your view instead of "snapping" it (F7). Basically another way to interpret view control move inputs.
