I know there is a few of you who enjoy muscle/classic cars, and i wanted to share the main reason why i haven't played or posted in some time. My father came across an old mustang a few years ago, and let it sit since then. I in turn convinced him to sell it to me, and I've been restoring her since late January.
1966 Ford Mustang, 'A' code 289 V8, power steering, vinyl top, standard interior.
For some dumb reason, I didn't take pics of her when she arrived. However, here is a pic I found very similar to what the engine looked like.
Here is what it looks like (for the most part)
And here's a few more pics
I'm almost done, just waiting for my seats & I will be replacing the brakes & master cylinder soon...
But so far, I've replaced all chrome (minus the bumpers), new interior, cleaned & painted most parts, stainless steel fasteners, added MSD ignition, monte carlo bar, new vinyl top, aluminum radiator, aluminum water pump, 100amp alternator, and electroilluminecent gauges.
Anyone else restoring?
