Afk for a year or so.  The name of a gun turret in game.  Falanx, huh?
Apparently I'm in the 20th FG 'Loco Busters', or so the legend goes.

Are you trying to be sarcastic? (Not trying to offend you, just no  in here and we've all been asking for the He111 and more axis bombers)

A26 Invader was my first choice in the plane poll thing, I voted for it every chance there was. I rarely would fly it myself. But, it was so great and fun in AW it seems almost wrong we don't have it in AH.

There are many other med and lt bombers and attack aircraft from other countries that should see the light of day first, IMO.

The fan club for the A26 simply needs to take the A20 and pretend.  The US is already well represented.   ;)

For starters, the Jap Ki-45 "Nick", Soviet Il-4 and Tu-2, German He111 and Stuka Ju-87G, Italia's SM79, and maybe even the UK's Beaufighter all would fill a void in the game.     :)

SM49-III =  2700lbs of ord or a torpedo.  It was a dive-bomber and sources say it was good.  I didnt mention the Cr43, that is another thread.   ;)

A26 oh yes!!!!
Hmmmm, the best light bomber/attack plane of the war....
Thats why it was used untill the wings literally fell off...
last sorties for A26 were in Vietnam, 1968.....
And they still hadn't found a plane that could do the job so well...
USAF had to aquire Navy A7's to do the same job...

good plane eh????
