IMHO, perk planes should only be allowed when a side is losing and it's nation is about to fall. How about that as a criteria as to when an me-262 can lift off. Only the highest ranking pilots in the arena of the doomed nation at that time in % ratio should be able to uber his way through the skies in a perk plane.

I wana C perk planes but only under historically realistic scenerios. Oh yea, I want to fly 262s when the going gets rough.

Err, no.

I'd like a shot at flying them too.  Just because I can't fly 5 hours, or even an hour per day should not render an entire section of the game off limits to me.  My $30.00 is just as good as anybody elses.

The US and UK were not losing when they depolyed the P-51H, Tempest and Spitfire F.MkXIV.  Therefore your claim to realism is also disproven.

If something like that should be there, it should be other way around.
They who own more land, could use perk planes with less perk points, beacuse their economy is better than the ones who has lost alot territory.

Hum, I hadnt thought of that. Well then in consideration of this position here are my comments. Again, they are simply thought and I really dont neccesarily believe that this should be the case. However my thoughts are to simply "protect" the historic use of the German secrete weapons.

1: The weapons were used by the best of the Luffwaffe, their highest aces. The ones that were still alive that is.

2: They appeared when the Germany WWII was just about doomed.

3: They apeared in very little numbers but caused quite a stir due to their technological advantage.

Under these considerations I think they should also be portraid in AH, IMHO. Maybe a better way of selecting pilots for special weapons would be those that simply have not died yet when the war conditions for secrete weapons is in affect. He who is online and hasnt died in his record yet that tour and then best score within that get first dibs at any moment in time.

Just a thought...

I'm thinking in the other direction. Instead of giving the country with the highest amount of Whoop-Ass(©) perk planes at a discount, give it to the country who's getting their butt kicked. I've noticed a trend in the arena. During the day it gets more or less even, with exceptions. At night usually the Knights are out-numbered. In the evenings, either the Rooks or Bishops are in dire straits.

Just as an example:

Bishops lose 5 fields to the Rooks. They can get perk planes 5 points cheaper than anyone else. Once they get back those 5 fields, the price goes back up to normal. If they gain an additional 5 fields, the price goes UP by 5 points. Dynamic pricing, wave of the future!
