Any good system cleaner/virus protection?
« on: August 18, 2008, 09:00:09 PM »
  Title ^

I would prefer if it was a freeware.. my family is cheap.. so.. yea.  :cry
I search the web, but they're all trialware or you have to buy it.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

I use AVG, much happier with it than I was with Mcafee.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Now there  is just no way anyone will convince me that titanic isn't a shades account for wrag, he starts too many threads a day not to be him, and I haven't noticed wrag spamming the board like usual.

Why did you come up with a new name wrag?

he did it, because about a year and a half ago, he knew he'd get himself PNG'd right about now? :noid

I am not "wrag" or whoever you mentioned... I don't even know who he is, and even if these threads are less than 24 hours apart, they all die soon, the only that's still alive is "Your first job".

I'm a big fan of  Avast.  It's free for the home edition and works like a champ. Avg works great too.

I use both AVG and Avast.  Plus to keep out the spam, I use adaware.  All are free.

AVG, Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, and CCleaner all fit in free and "system cleaner/protection" category.  All are great products, i have yet to get anything using them, and i browse/DL a lot :D.

I use Webroot. It's not free, but it's superior to McAfee, IMHO.

Super Anti Spyware Free Edition works very, very well it removes anything that could possibly infect your pc and it updates every 2-3 days to make sure its up to date.
Quite frankly, I just don't give a damn.
