I like it

The color is much more ralistic from the air than in past terrains. I used to believe HTC had a contract with Chemlawn...too green.

The gangbang issue doesn't bother me until the Bishops start getting Gangbanged

I for one really like the new map.  It doesn't seem to hit my fps bad and at least last night it created some very nice fights, both hi and lo.

Plus I like to tank a pnzr out alot of Knits launched a massive Pnzr attack on 23 yesterday!  Was fun even though the defending pnzr got over ran before I got a hit on him..hehe

The new map has changed the feel of AH online.  It is now essentially a two "superpower" war with a small nieghboring country.  Think of Poland between Germany and Russia.

For fighters, speed and climb are more important than firepower than in the past.  Lots more Mustangs and 109's about.  High altitude flying is more prevelant.

Much of the challenge to bomber flying is gone as it is much easier to avoid defensive fighters and anti-aircraft fire (if your side is numbers advantaged).  It remains just as easy for a single airplane to render a base unusable with the extreme bombing precision available.

Gone is the ability to (nearly) always have the option to fly from a carrier from all three countries.

The new arena is more condusive to large armored vehicle attacks than actual ground vehicle battles.  Travel times from a spawn point to nme base are down to a few minutes for the faster vehicles.

Two countries with a large advantage in numbers can find endless targets (and related points/perk points) by attacking a purely defensive country fighting on two fronts.  Once the reset is forced, there is a whole new set of targets to blow through to force another reset.  If Day 2 of tour 14 is any indication, this can happen at least once a day.  Lesse 30 days times 20 reset perk points/day = no sense in flying for a country that is in continous retreat.

It seems that this new terrain, coupled with the regular moves of a few squads, has highlighted problems we might not have seen if numbers were more equal between the three countries.
