How do you increase ammo limit for guns?

It's been bugging me when I am playing the Offmiss 'Furball' and I run out of ammo. Thanks.

Get closer and shoot imo. Get comfortable with your rounds. Like I can aim 20mm and usually take 10-20 rounds to drop just about any fighter. Where with 50 cals I have a hard time taking planes down. My comfortable firing range is 200 yards under. I just get really really close and squeeze off a half a sec burst.

You can mujtliply your ammo

Once in offline click on options/Arena Setup/Enviroment/Arena settings

Then scroll down to Plane Ammo Multiplier, double click and in there you enter a number

Not sure but I think it is 1 thru 10. Just remember that it is a multiplier so if your plane normally has 1000 rounds and you enter 5 as multiplier then you will have 5000 rounds.

if i ever did an off line mission, (still have yet to try em, itchin to try em for the fun htough) i would just stick with the normal amount, teaches you to conserve your ammo much more, why increase your ammo load to get more kills (unless its a furball  )? just how i feel, but there are many people that are wonderful shots, but not the best sticks (like me   ).

I actually had mine increased from when I first started AH, just to help me stay in the air longer to help me with my gunnery without having to re-up as much. Helped a little but I still have a long way to go.

I have however just decreased my multiplier back to 1 while in my 4vs1 offline mission, just to help me to conserve. But I think if I was back in my ealry days again I would set that multiplier up too. I would definitely set it up for some of the large furball missions that are out there. Which is exactly what his orginal queston said he wanted the multiplier for.

Changing the ammo multiplier doesn't change the weight. 650 30mm rounds will weight the same as 65 rounds before you set ammo multiplier to 10.

  Doesn't increase weight at all, just takes longer to lose weight.

650x 30mm rounds weigh the same as 65x 30mm, like Lusche said.
640x 30mm rounds weigh the same as 64x 30mm.

So basically, you have to fire 10 more shots to feel the same effects.
