alembic is ultra high end stuff.  Nothing they make should look like anything even remotely resembling a standard factory made instrument.

I seriously doubt they would even allow their name to be used on any copy.

The first guitar I ever bought was a 1981 Hondo II bass.  White with a black pickguard, the thing looked like a Fender P-bass to me.  Fell in love with it and mowed lawns until I had enough money to take it out of lawaway.  It was a cheap POS but you could have fooled me.  I loved that guitar.

yeah the cheap tremolo tail piece was a dead giveaway.  It may be late 80s to mid 90s.  how does it play?  btw when using ernie ball, always get the rps!
