X52 without pedals.

Works well. It needed a powered USB hub to sort out a few calibration problems but that isn't a big deal.

I hated the light action at first, it felt too flimsy, but now that I'm used to it it's actually a blessing as it forces you to be smooth and it's less work on the wrists if you play a lot.

Still use my old X-36. Tried CH, X-45 and 52 and couldnt get used to them. For pedals I use the throttle and brake from a logitech steering wheel. All a bit heath robinson, but I'm rubbish anyway so good kit would be wasted on me.

CH stick & throttle with Saitek pedals.

All a bit heath robinson,
Wobbly, educate a dumb yank. Who's heath robinson? Here, in the states, we have a guy named Rube Goldberg. I'm guessing they're related.

It's a term we use over here for cobbled together bits of equipment. Term comes from the cartoonist, Heath Robinson who did cartoons of eccentric machines, for example

I'm still using my old MS Sidewinder (No Force Feedback).

Still have another in original packaging, for when i finally have to retire the one I'm using. 6 Years and still works fine.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

That's very interesting. Rube Goldberg was an American cartoonist who did exactly the same thing. His name has become part of the lexicon here. Guessing the same can be said for Robinson in the UK.
Thanks for the info. :salute

You didn't go overboard did you?  :O

I have CH stick, throttle and pedals.....but unlike Delirium I only have one throttle.  :D
I have the same and have 2 throttles. You can as well, just program the throttle on the joystick as the second. You will need to use the Control Manager at least that is the way I set it up.

I didnt even have to take it apart  :O :lol

Thrustmaster Cougar HOTAS, CH Pedals, TrackIR, 4 monitors (but currently only for Falcon 4:AF & FS-2004/X). FS gets a wrap around view with 1 for instruments. F4:AF gets 1 display, 2 MFDs, 1 for gauges. Going to add a Phidgets LCD next so I can get some working buttons on those MFDs. I also have a Phidgetts usb 4-channel servo controller laying around that I could either build Auto-throttles out of, or maybe get heavy duty servos and rig up a motion cockpit. Project for another day though. First, apparently, I have to get this Matrox piece to run these monitors on AH2.  :huh
