Probably because those weren't 16s but clipped wing Spitfire XIIs of 41 squadron EB-D is MB858 and it flew the last Spit XII sortie in September 44 and never would have encountered a TA152

MB858 survived the war too btw so the cartoon guys are full of it. The second Spit XII is EB-E and that was MB862 and that one didn't get shot down either. Typical LW creative kill claims

41 squadron would have been in fill span wing Spitfire XIVs by that time.
But then again that's just a cartoon
