If they introduce the perk ord system we could have the Yak 9UT. Same airframe and engine as the 9U but with 2 cowl mounted 20mm cannons and a 23mm or 37mm hub mounted cannon. Think 380 or so made in the first half of '45.
That'd be pretty sweet.

I'd be still flying the 20mm/12mm setup, that thing is an helicopter.

How can he then get 7-8 planes before reloading? Is my math really that bad?

Maybe he meant he get's 7-8 planes (his own Yaks), then one kill and has to reload.  I'd find that easy too.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

The 20mm ShVAK was actually one of the weaker WW2 20mm cannon in terms of shell destructive power: it contained far less HE than average, prompting the Soviets to develop the NS-23 23mm cannon with twice the shell weight. However, it did make up for this to some extent by having a slightly higher rate of fire than average.

and when/where would this be?  checking LW jan '08 thru present you only have 3 months on which you flew a yak-9u,

Jan '08  1 kill  1 death
April '08 4 kills 5 deaths
Aug '08 1 kill, 0 deaths.

pass the salt, pls.

just sayin'
