I tried this new version of the patch a couple of weeks ago. Still didn't work. It appeared to work, and I played for a half hour or so in XP mode (ie: not Win98 compat mode) and then all of a sudden the screen wigged out, my airplane exploded, I got the "don't move your controls so much" message from AH, and the machine locked up and I had to hard reboot. Sigh.
