confused on what path to take

The 4850 came in yesterday to my surprise and got it installed last night. In AH my frame rates are the same as with the 8800GTX before it fried.

My frame rates are always maxed at 60. No matter. It's the quality I am after. Much better view than my 8600 or anything prior. Let me know how the that works for you Lambo.

Ive had an 8800gts 640mb since Jan last year and Ive NEVER had a game that i carnt run full gfx at high res.

Call of duty 4
Turok
Tom Clancy Vegas 1 + 2
Ghost recon advanced warefare 1 + 2
Crysis

8800gts is a great card.

Huh?  I have a 9600GT and run full gfx at high res...Usually over 1280x1024...
No issues and smooth as can be...
