Yup, todays engines will take most birds and make them mince meat.

heck, might even feed a small population of people when the meat hits landfall.

LOL... Reminds me of the USA in WWII.... We tried to attach incendiaries to bats and release them over Japan.
DONT LET THEM GET A BOMB OR WERE DONE  :lol :lol

The thinking was pretty smart even though the bats couldnt carry the explosive.  Bats would hide during the day and with Japanese architecture, they would actually go under the roofs, then the flare up of fire would burn the houses down.

This idea never worked sadly.
