And when they say lower class, giving 'tax breaks' is welfare probably. If it were 'working class' it would be a whole different story. Lower class could mean anything from single parents working 15 hours of the day to support their kid(s) or some low life pot headed bum on the side of the street in the ghetto.
My family is working class. We were hit hard by the Bush administration. I remember when I was 6 or 7, that I would ask to go to Toys-R-us to get a toy. My parents would say no, because there was not enough money in the house for me to have what I wanted. Looking back on this, it was the right decision. My family has been able to put the money where its needed, and thats in the bills, the gas money and me and my sisters college fund. Before Bush, my dad had begun work on re-building the upstairs bathroom in my house. Now that same room has been siting with plywood floors and unfinished walls and ceilings, for 8 years, with very minimal work done to it. This is all because taxes on my family were raised, and we struggled to afford the supplies needed to finish that upstairs bathroom.
If McCain promises the same thing, I would dare not even waste my time reading or watching anything to do with him. He served in the military, and he has my respect for that, but he promises what my family cannot do.
