Watching his highness right now.  The reflection of his telepromter on the backdrop behind him is horribly distracting...

We sheeple learn from experience.  Look at 1992 when Clinton, before the election, promised much the same and after the election he said "oops!" and gave us the largest tax increase in history (including a huge increase on the middle class). I'll stay with what I know and what I know is Democrats raise taxes every chance they get.  BTW- When was the last time Democrats cut  taxes?

And when they say lower class, giving 'tax breaks' is welfare probably. If it were 'working class' it would be a whole different story. Lower class could mean anything from single parents working 15 hours of the day to support their kid(s) or some low life pot headed bum on the side of the street in the ghetto.
No one knows what the future may bring.

They are building Barack 'Apollo' Hussein Obama a replica of a Greek Temple to give, in front of 70,000 screaming fans, his acceptance speech .  (Image removed from quote.)

And the way I hear it.
the republicans are planning a similar style motif.

Much adieu over nothing.

Man. the conservatives are really starting to grasp at straws.
A Page right out of the Democrats playbook.
Why not? They had 8 years to learn how to copy it

Yet more evidence that one side is really no better then the other

Nice... tell you what... listen to the link.  And then I'll consider your opinion.

Oh... and by the way... "class" is defined by income level... not character.

My family is working class. We were hit hard by the Bush administration. I remember when I was 6 or 7, that I would ask to go to Toys-R-us to get a toy. My parents would say no, because there was not enough money in the house for me to have what I wanted. Looking back on this, it was the right decision. My family has been able to put the money where its needed, and thats in the bills, the gas money and me and my sisters college fund. Before Bush, my dad had begun work on re-building the upstairs bathroom in my house. Now that same room has been siting with plywood floors and unfinished walls and ceilings, for 8 years, with very minimal work done to it. This is all because taxes on my family were raised, and we struggled to afford the supplies needed to finish that upstairs bathroom.

If McCain promises the same thing, I would dare not even waste my time reading or watching anything to do with him. He served in the military, and he has my respect for that, but he promises what my family cannot do.

Obama>McCain

McCain=(Image removed from quote.)

Quote
As McCain was completing his bombing mission, a Soviet-made surface-to-air missile struck his plane, shearing off the right wing. McCain ejected as his plane spiraled violently to earth. The force of the ejection knocked him unconscious and both of his arms and one leg were broken.

He regained consciousness as he plunged into a lake near his bombing target. Quickly, an angry mob gathered, seeking retribution for the rain of bombs. Dragging him from the lake, they broke his shoulder with a rifle butt and bayoneted him repeatedly. They loaded McCain into a truck and delivered him to the infamous - and hated - "Hanoi Hilton."

Denied medical treatment for days, McCain's condition deteriorated badly. His fellow POW's, shocked at his appearance, thought McCain was near death. But they were determined that he survive. And thanks to their care, his health gradually improved.

Within a few months of McCain's becoming a prisoner of war, his father, Admiral Jack McCain, was appointed commander of all U.S. forces in the Pacific. The North Vietnamese, sensing a propaganda prize, offered McCain early release.

But McCain refused early release, citing the code of conduct that prisoners of war should be released in the order in which they were captured. His captors demanded he accept their offer. McCain refused, over and over again. For his repeated defiance, his communist captors savagely beat him.

Before it was over, John McCain spent 5 years as a prisoner of war, two of them in solitary confinement.

Whatever you think of his political policies, McCain = Badass

It is an indicator of his character.

The RNC and DNC go thru a bunch of time and effort to make vidoes showing their candidate talking with farmers, touring a factory wearing a hardhat, or going thru old family albums to show your their Rockwellian upbringing to try to get you to see why is it that this one is the one you should vote for.

When John McCain was telling his captors, "Don't free me before those who have seniority here at the HH" and took torture and solitary confinement instead, he was showing honor.

Honor is a trait I would hold as important in a President.

Ok he has Honor. But one can not run a country on Honor alone.

You are correct.

Several presidents have not had Honor.  I would prefer it if all our presidents had this trait.

Honor is a good trait.... however, it is subdued somewhat in this case when the one trumping his "Foreign Policy" credentials every 5 minutes tells us that Iraq and Pakistan share a border...

And confuses Sunnis with Shi'ites....

Add another 10 or so.... "senior moments"....
