current setup (tunsia) motd...
« on: August 29, 2008, 08:01:24 PM »
is sloppy to say the least... it leaves out important info such as the planeset, fuel burn modifier
and dar settings <--- uber important to many.

not to mention the "link" referenced in the motd isn't copy/pastable, so one would have to manually write it down then type it in the browser.

and not everyone can be bothered to read the forums, so you're probably losing some potential players.

c'mon guys, you're better than this, right?

The hardness and reset times need to be in there as well. essentially the rules we're operating under need to be on there.

Also the capture rules are different than on the MOTD. It says you need 50 troops bu tyou only need 1.

Not 10....... just 1.

I am pretty sure its not supposed to be that easy.

Capture reset to 10 troops.

Thanks for the heads up, D.

Can you also include wind speed and direction?  It hasn't been showing up on e6b.

Also, the bases haven't been flashing when there are enemy nearby.

Wind is shown on the map, but will add it to MOTD.

I will write up a new MOTD and send it to staffers to upload and confirm the settings. <S>

Thanks for your patience, many things have been changing and a lot of learning going on.
