Steve McQueen, biker, racer, pilot, Marine and sometime actor. He was the real thing. A genuine tough guy. Died far too young.  :salute

Death is all very well but it ruined many a good career.

nascar was getting a bit boring, due to all the rules. it looked like a 200mph traffic jam.

Dale got killed, and it just sealed itr for me. i don't think i've seen a nascar race since then.
