The films also records details that will allow them to determine if a player is possibly using a 3rd party program or modifying the client. As for that hack you saw on YouTube, it's old news and I can guarantee you that HTC has security measures in place to detect hacks. How do I know they do? Because unfortunately, a former squadron member was caught using a cheat that was detected and thankfully banned as a result.
The other assertion you have about them reducing lethality to control game play doesn't help your cause any as that just smacks of paranoid 'conspiracy' ranting since it's clearly not true.
