bomber hunting, and furballs. furballs are a bit easier i think, as i usually have bad luck with buffs.

that's what i mean....i used to see an old raving heap-o-chit plane, with me in something like a spixteen, or a hellkitty, go haulin bellybutton intot he fight thinking easy kill.  and i was right. it WAS an easy kill. for the OTHER guy.  

i never assume anything now. if it has wings, it's a threat....even if it's on fire, aor out of gas, it is a threat.

If your cv is capping a base the uppers that will up will probably up with spixteens or some other dweeb plane. Bring the first zero (eny of 40) and vulch one of them. When you land you will probably get like 15 perks (depending on perk point bonus of course). Or bring a 190a8 into a cv furball and kill some pts or planes.

i used to fly the 190a8 a lot, but then got sick of dieing cuz of my stupidity of comin in at 10K and havin spixteens up at 15K

fly an A-20 or boston...bout the best perk farmers in the game...cept the perkies are worthless.

Actually going spit hunting in a 109F is about the best perk farming I know of...most spit drivers are average and a 109F will put a spanking on most of them if well flown.

i do pretty well with them in furballs. the key is not to allow a shot on ya though, as if the enemy even so much as spits on ya, your fuel tanks ignite.

 coolest thing is that i have a habit of taking light fuel load internally, and carrying a drop tank. i can turn against most enemies with the tank still slung. if i get a good corsair pilot, or another zeke, then i dump it. otherwise, i keep it.

109G2, 109G6, P38G, Zeros, F4Fs all middle of the road planes. lots of fun to fly, and all earn perks pretty quick. I have almost 5k I'm not using, plan on selling mine on Ebay
