Base Capture 10th Troop
« on: October 22, 2001, 02:52:00 PM »
Last night on the Mindanao map, I de-acked a Bish depot (D72), then came back in a C47 for the capture. As I approached the field, I saw a Rook C47 approaching from the other side. I got there first, dropped my troops, and then (after breaking a wing in an unsuccessful attempt at ramming the Rook goon   :p ), I bailed and watched him drop.  Nine of my troops disappeared into the map room, with one still running, when the first Rook troop arrived at the map room, and he got the capture, with the rest of his troops still running!    Musta been Rambo!

That's life  :D
Just goon never without CAP.
Flying as a lone wolf in a C47 is always risky, even when it is very satisfying to do so.

Maybe hes lonely soldier has so much carisma or magic points that he converted your troops to rook?   :D

Our Knit troops were too busy with the sheep to notice the one Rook until it was too late.   ;)
