I would like to suggest a new friendly icon option. Hilight bombers. Setup in such a way that when u select this option (perhaps ctrl B) your countries bombers will be shown with a different coloured Icon. Much like squad, and wingman is now. With the addition of the TBM, it may not be obvious that, the friendly at 10 oc is in a bomber and therefore in trouble due to the red converging on him.
This would help the big buffs as well. They could be hilited on the map as well, so that the little friends could see them and that they are possibly in trouble. Some ppl don't know the finer points of the coordinate systems we use (ie: 7,10,5, 5 being KP loc) and therefore may have a difficult time asking for assisstance. A bomber icon/dot colour for friendlies only of course, would help both the buffers and the fighters IMO.
