 :rofl

Inexpensive hobby!  Track IR, HOTAS, and rudder pedals will set you back $400-$500.  Then you have to get a better graphics card to run high rez textures.$$$  Two more monitors to get the wide screen effect $$$, and while your at it, go ahead and build a sim-pit, to get the complete immersive effect $$$$.  You are going to want to eventually.  :devil

I'm half tempted to resort to that...

My saitek cyborg evo force's throttle quit on me, it's "auto calibration" ruins fights for me *note, in a sustained turn (more than about 3 secs) where your stick is, now becomes the "center"* T__T
Yep, I have the same stick and I'm always having to recalibrate it, and now from time to time it just stops working and I have to pull the power cable and plug it back in.

I use an X52 Pro, CH Pro Pedals, a CH Throttle quadrant (mainly for FSX, but I use t for flaps, RPM, etc in AH) and a Vuzix VR920 Headtracking Head Mounted Display.

I play on an old 1.6 pent with an even older joystick.  Hardware is fun, but simplicity and alot of practice goes further...for less money.

You definitely also need some flights on the real WWII birds, to fine tune the perspective:

Some might say purchasing one would be a good idea, to speak authoritatively in threads titled "p51 flapps to unrelistic" and the like:

Is there anything else I need or I should get?

Nothing to worry about, yet.  You're in fine shape and still having this "fun" of yours.

Prior to your one year anniversary with the game however, you'd be well advised to pick up the following:

1.)  Drywall.
2.)  Spackle.
3.)  Primer.
4.)  Paint.
5.)  Spare joystick (see 1-4).

I'd love one of those simulators. It would only be worth my while for about 6 years though.

Got it in a packaged deal almost a year ago, and yes that is not the offer anymore.  I got it under a very rare promotional offer, hehehehe.  I pay for unlimited long distance calling, the Total cable package (including HBO, Showtime, cinemax (skinemax, hhehehe) etc.) for 100.00 a month.  Now, when u include the tax and the other BS charges, its about 125.00 a month.
